A few weeks ago I came to y'all with a question about scanning. A lot of stuff I have to scan here on the job winds up with that nasty pattern of dots called moire.
Y'all made some suggetions, and this week I finally had the perfect opportunity to try out your tips.
Success!!!!!
Here's my first scan without doing anything special to it http://www.haughtbk.com/dotsyes.jpg UGLY!
I then tilted the original on the scanner by approximately 15 degrees and scanned it in at twice the resolution I needed. I then took it into PS, straightened it and took it down to the resolution I needed. BINGO! Here it is http://www.haughtbk.com/dotsno.jpg Much better, eh?
It doesn't work this great every time I use this method, but it certainly is better than what I was winding up with.
Thanks guys!

BeeKay - that's a fantastic improvement. Something tells me you're going to get a lot of mileage out of the 15 degree trick.

You must be well on your way to becoming a legend in your shop!

Thanks for sharing the success. Mostly we hear about problems!
