Preserved Topic: help with jail cell (Page 1 of 1)

I'm trying to make a jailcell for no reason just want to try to do it but my bars won't come out like i want them too and like man there's just loads of things i need to adjust but i wanted to start with the bars first..

Maybe you should tell us what you want them to come out like?

well i want them to have more of a metal effect....but not as shiny as true metal...is that right hum.. maybe i've had one too many meds also since i have your ear or should it be eye.... the seats perspective needs to be corrected true??

Yep, as it stands the point of view on the seat seems off. Show it from more of a frontal view. Am I being clear?

Humm.. I hope that's not the size of the image your working with..

Prespective? You should know weather it's right or wrong if you set up your vanashing points and guide lines correctly.

I was thinking about doing a GN tute on Perspective for a while there but never got roung to it.. Here's on of the eariler images from the unfinished tute... (Yes, this was drawn completly in PS)



Sorry bout the crapp compression, I could be bothered opening PS so I used ACDSee to convert it and it over compressed it...

thnx Dracusis. the image is much bigger than that but in order to post it I optimized it I believe the cell is about 600x300 somewhere round there.
