I have my site set up with IFrames currently, but (there's always a but..) I want it to be all browser compatible for at least NS 4+ and Opera and IE 4+ and IFrames don't do that so is there anything that functions like an IFrame, scrolls, static bg, etc. Anyways thanx for any input

You can find many different DHTML scrollers on the internet... Here's one for example: http://www.codephobia.com/tutorials/view.php3?idnum=1

Max, do you know what browsers this scroller supports? I couldn't find any info on that.

That scroller works only in IE. But, as I've said, that's just an example, heh... Anyway, other DHTML scrollers can be found at the following locations:

http://www9.ewebcity.com/skripts/scrollbars.htm (very good DHTML scroller, works in IE5+, NN4, Mozilla M18+)
http://ozoniclabs.com/downloads/scrollBar/ (Doc's scroller, works in all 4+ browsers, except Opera)
http://www.max.co.yu/ozone/opera_scroll.html (my example to show how to scroll layers in Opera)

Enjoy!

It would be nice with one that supports all 4+ browsers.... that's your job, Max! Hehe

Actually, there is one here --> http://www.projectseven.com/layermagic/v19test2.htm
but it doesn't have draggable bar, just up and down buttons. It seems pretty cross-browsery though.
