Ok guys, here it is.

Something Leet wussed out like a bunch of panzy hacks.

Gurus Network and PSD.it have submitted, as well as the Asylum.

Here's the deal: If you are a new member, with less than 20 posts, you are not allowed to vote (IBC rules).

*IF YOU ARE VOTING HERE, YOU CAN'T VOTE AT THE GURUS NETWORK*

So, if you're a regular here, vote here. If not, vote at the Gurus Network. We're looking for an honest, clean, vote here

One vote per person.

Now, the rules stated that you most vote on a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, but since there are only two images for you to vote on, simply state:

Theme for this competition: Evil Inside. Style: Wallpaper. Limitations: 800x600, PS only plus 1 possible import/photo.

Oh, this is *really* hard! I note in the rules, "Comments, critiques and reasons on votes are welcome, but not mandatory." I'll take that as an open invitation. =) My first take was this, "GN definitely! PSD has not much more than a simple image manip, too much 'found' photo!" Then I stopped and looked again. I love the detail work on the digital painting fromt he GN entry, the perspective is right, the shadows wonderful, the detail hidden throughout is just way too cool. But the PSD piece! It's not just the little mustache, but the little "pen" of army men, gunning down the little "prisoner men", scary. The concept is simply chilling, and as found photos go, that one is just creepy, that little dweeb is evil! Really, it's like I have to make a choice between apples and oranges, we have two *very* different types of photoshop art here, within the same concept. Both are such stunning examples of these different arts, so I'm going to have to vote on concept, which means...

I have to go with the little sob on the beach. Very much the concept of evil within. The GN image does infact *conjure up* thoughts of evil within and artistically and technically I think it superior but, 'to date' that little sob on the beach is/was imo, the personification of 'evil within.'

GN's addition was just a bit more... I dunno... creepy than baby hitler. Though it was a hard choice to make, it had to be made. Kudos for PSD.it for an excellent submission, though!

I thought a long time about the vote, at first i leaned towards PSD.it, the concept was bang on,

Then the more i looked at Gn's submission the more i liked it, the idea of the mirror showing you the hidden side of the girl was awsome...

(although it could be interpreted as an image showing two sides to someone rather than "inside")

But the effort and execution of the GN team won it for me, as doc said it was like choosing between oranges and apples, two completely different approaches to the subject, but KUDOS to the GN team for taking the more difficult and challenging route, thats why ya got my vote..

a very hard choice between the two

GN.com work slowly grew on me .. the girl so clean and proper, but her eyes and her lips show the first hint of a mischiviousness .. then the mirror only provides the clear evil inside this little girl calmly holding a doll .. this painting reminds me of something you would see from historic paintings from the 1600 when the first colonies came over to America .. parents made up there kids for pictures and paintings .. there was no emotion should from the kids .. showing that they weren't really having fun or being a kid .. that this picture signifies it

PSD.it .. though this picture surely shows evil and hate .. I had one problem with this picture .. Hitler(I'm assuming this is who this picture represents) never smiled .. and I'm sure as a kid he never did .. to be defined as evil .. they tend to never show emotion .. and Hitler never did .. evil is strict, and forceful .. I recall in my childhood I played just as this kid did .. with my little army men .. imagining I'm killing the other army .. but I was a having fun and smiling .. now if this picture of "hitler" was without the smile it would get my vote
