Drop the splash screen. It adds nothing to your site, and is a distraction from your site. Many people will not even continue when affronted with a splash screen.

I would also add some kind of mouse over effect to your links, there is very little indication that these are a link aside from the cursor changing.

yeah the splash screen is from the old design... but you cant see the mouse-over effects?... hmmm i have the links set to fade with a dhtml script from black to white... ill prob switch it to flash...

I am using firefox.

When you design your site you might want to do your initial design work under a mozilla browser and then switch to IE to fix problems. It tends to work a whole lot better than attempting to do it the other way around.
