now for the people in lower resolutions it comes out as a 3 coloumed site with the banner up top.. right?

anyone in 1 1280 by 720 + gets
a mangled mess.. now how can i fix this? so it looks normla in the higher and low res's?

What is it "supposed" to look like?

One thing (doubt this is your problem) is the top table that holds the logo thingy, really needs to span the entire page, like the rest of your page. Just crop out a 1px X 78px section of the background and put that in the background of the <TD> tag.

Right now the top table is set to 778 and the rest of it is 100%. That needs to be fixed me thinks.

You have a lot of heights specified in your tables, I would try to avoid this if at all possible. Tends to make a mess of things. At least it always has for me.

It looks like there are too menus, right? What I am guessing is this:

The two menus are to be on the left hand side right underneath each other, the Welcome, is to be in the middle and the "Poll" and "search" are to be on the right hand side. Just noticed that you have another menu hanging out there. Strange.

I think what you can do is to set a large table to act as the "outline" table and then put all your other tables inside of that one. Know what I mean. I would also set them to either a percentage or specify an exact width for all of them.

Trigger: You're welcome. I hope that my reply made sense. Sometimes tables used for layout can get a little confusing.

When I do tables, I usually use a border so I can see the outline and what it is doing.

Good luck.
