Most of you probably already know this so... this is for those who don't =)

Right clicking on a layer in the layers palette you can select layers properties and name the layer...making it a whole lot easier to keep track of which layer is which bla bla...

Now lets say you've spent a lot of time figuring out the amount of g/blur-levels-curves whatever for that layer...well if you go back to the layers properties click at the end of what's in the dialogue box.. just add in the info ... g/blur 5px Lvls ?? curve saved as xyz.
Then when you click & drag the left side of the layer palette you can pull it right across your screen and there you have all the relevant info for that layer.

I imagine this would work extremely well for those running dual monitors.

I've moved the layers palette and the others all over the screen... lengthened/shortened them hid them and cursed them... and then a few months back I accidentally grabbed the left side and pulled it the width of the screen... that's one long line there and once you develop your own shorthand you can pack a ton of info on that line. You cannot however add a line. As soon as you hit 'enter' you're right back to the layers palette..

I've tried using the notes feature but it just drives me nuts.

Helpful to some I hope.

Even if you put all 64 (I think) characters in the layer title, and just hover over it, it will show you the entire line like a tool tip, too.
